Kidde WHDR fire suppression systems provide peace of mind with 24 hour automatic protection for your customers, employees and your business.
In the event of a fire, excessive heat is detected by Kidde fusible or thermo-bulb detectors, triggering the XV Control System. The control system simultaneously actuates the pressurized agent storage containers, shuts down fuel and power sources to the appliances, and activates the building fire alarm - notifying occupants and your local fire department.
The Kidde APC wet chemical agent, designed specifically for the challenges posed by oil and grease in a kitchen environment, discharges from strategically positioned nozzles and quickly suppresses the flames. The APC agent forms a protective layer that not only extinguishes the fire, but also prevents re-ignition.
